Happy Birthday
to me. Last Sunday was my birthday. I did not write much about it because quite frankly it took a while of convalescing for me to be fully up and running after some serious drunken debauchery Saturday night. Honestly, it was pretty crazy. Totally unplanned and unexpected. The wild revelry stunned my girlfriend Wendy who came down from Chicago to visit me and I’ve known her for over 18 years. Yep, Tom and I, well Lauri did some shots, polished off a large bottle of Stoli blueberry vodka. That was after two large glasses of black and tans for me and a couple of Jamesons for him. I was a mess for a couple of days after that. We didn’t stop drinking until 3 am and I had to be up and at the Aristocrat for a YA YA birthday brunch the next day at 11 am. Still quite drunk, I’m sure I made a complete ass of myself. The girls said I was a hoot and that they really enjoyed my company so I’ll try not to worry about it too much.

I bought myself a birthday gift. The MacBook Pro computer. I had been going back and forth about whether I should indulge myself because it is rather costly but if I did not get it now I would forever lose a substantial company discount and I just couldn’t bear to do that. Besides, it is a real beaut. Sexy as shit. Powerful as hell. I’ve been in love with this laptop for quite some time and have been trying to justify buying it for over a year. Well, I ordered it today so it’s mine now. I should have it in my hot little hands by next Thursday. I can’t wait. I’m so excited.
I’m getting mentally and emotionally prepared for my upcoming visit to NY for Xmas. I already have tickets to see David Mamet’s production of THE VOYSEY INHERITANCE. The NYTimes gave the play an excellent review so I’m jazzed.
I will one day write about my mom Scuba. It is just that I get so emotional that I some times feel like a freak when I’m on that subject. Or worse, a very little girl.

Do you collect kolidascopes? I make them too last yearthat was what I did for Christmas gifts… I just did a basic three mirror scope though not an oil wand scope. HAPPY BELATED BIRTHDAY!!! I’m jeolous that you get to go to New York… There’s so much I would like to do there.
