While I have rec’d this, I do not think that these guys know anything about insurance companies and the hospitals that cater to them and vice versa. I have been in this field and have seen the horrible times people go through when they cannnot afford or get insurance… even those who are affluent.If you were diagnosed with any form of ailment or problem, the health insurance company kicks you out… no questions asked. Then you try to write letters to these same so called “good people” to reconsider the case, especially since there is no residual problem with that particular illness. But they NEVER consider the many letters we send on behalf of the patients, rich or poor. Health Insurance companies are like leaches. They suck and suck and suck until the system is bone dry, as is the case now.
This psa was put out by moveon.org. A liberal organization in favor of the public option. The ad is meant to be satirical and sarcastic. I am very much in favor of the public option. I am very very frighten that this bill will get killed or watered down.
