Eva purrs!
Two days ago my female cat Eva came in after an evening out in 15 degree weather. She quickly ate. She also said a few words which is unusual because Pasquale is the loud cat. Eva not so much. I can get her to talk if I tickle her, but normally she’s pretty quiet.
Turns out she was beat up pretty badly. It looked like one cat held her down while two cats kicked her butt. Even the vet was alarmed. These are just two places out of five where she was torn up. They needed to shave her everywhere she was hurt so she is sporting the most unflattering haircut.
I made her a little hospital in the spare bedroom. After two days of antibiotics and pain relievers she is showing signs of normal behavior. And she is NEVER going outside again!

Geez, rough neighborhood! We’ve had our cats get into plenty of fights, but never have we had kitty gang violence!
Hope Eva feels better!
WOW I have missed much!?! Where have I bneen. I hope Eva is all ship shape by now and ready to ring in the new year with you.
Oh… I am TOTALLY jealous of the Tim Burton/MOMA/New York trip… I know I will get to live vicariously though when you share it!
Thank you! (hug)

That’s ok I haven’t been around these neck of the woods much lately. She is better. One or two more need to heal and then her fur needs to grow back. Caught that bastard cat (Biggie is his name… don’t you just picture a big ol’ cat with with bling, a pinkie ring and a grill) beating up on my male cat the other day. No none of my cats get to go out. Thanks for stopping by.
